The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zadornov on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Knitter swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Zadornov tries to clinch but fails miserably
letting Knitter counter with a right hand.
Zadornov closes the distance and clinches up with Knitter, looking for a takedown. Zadornov pushes Knitter against the cage but Knitter circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Knitter dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

and Knitter counters with a nice uppercut.
Sloppy strikes from Knitter. Those never looked like landing.

and Knitter cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Knitter leaves Zadornov with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Knitter has taken the fight to the clinch.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Zadornov. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Knitter lands a hook that snaps the head of Zadornov backwards.
