The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yergeau thows a body shot but no joy.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Yergeau.
Yergeau shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Blank as he jumps to the side.
Yergeau tries to clinch but Blank moves away
and Yergeau takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Yergeau tries for a takedown but Blank sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ian Yergeau. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Blank goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Yergeau attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Yergeau looks for the body kick but Blank saw that one coming.
Blank misses with a body kick.
Yergeau throws a body punch but Blank moves out of range.
Blank scores with the left hand. Yergeau knows he should have avoided that one.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Yergeau has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Blank finds it's way round the side to connect with Yergeau's head.
Yergeau misses with a double jab.
Nice shot lands for Blank.

Blank shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Yergeau takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Yergeau rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Blank moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Yergeau closes the distance and clinches up with Blank, looking for a takedown. Yergeau pushes Blank against the cage but Blank circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Yergeau is breathing heavily.
Yergeau takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Yergeau tries to close the distance and clinch up but Blank swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Yergeau checks the leg kick nicely there.
Nice sprawl there from Blank as Yergeau shoots in.
Blank throws a push kick but Yergeau slaps the foot to one side.
Yergeau closes the distance and clinches up with Blank, looking for a takedown. Yergeau pushes Blank against the cage but Blank circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Yergeau takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Blank feints and then cracks Yergeau's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Yergeau down.

Blank fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Yergeau looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Billy Blank is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Blank punishes Yergeau's body with a nice straight punch.
Yergeau avoids the head kick by Blank.
Yergeau misses with a two punch combination.
Yergeau checks a low kick from Blank.
Blank lands with a hook. Yergeau tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Yergeau has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Yergeau there as he acknowledges the shot.
Blank lands a jab to the nose.
Yergeau avoids a kick to the body.

Blank lands a left and a right that send Yergeau crashing to the mat, dazed. Blank thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Yergeau is rocked!
Blank shakes his hands by his side, trying to relax. Yergeau takes his eyes off the ball for a moment - Blank sees the opportunity and cracks him with a massive hook! Yergeau bends double and collapses on top of himself - he's out! The crowd are going absolutely nuts! Wow, what a knockout!
