Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Victor Drago (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcus Silver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marcus Silver will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Victor Drago!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Marcus Silver!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Johanna Lukiainen and Marco Blurström.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Drago closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Silver wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Drago has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Silver after a bit of a struggle.
Drago has Silver pressed against the cage, preventing Silver from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Silver tries to circle away but Drago has him pinned against the cage.

Drago turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Drago manages to end up in side control.
Silver manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Drago thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Drago performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
Silver really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Drago. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Drago has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Drago thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Silver's head.

Drago is working for a submission of some sort.

Drago is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Silver doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Drago.

Drago looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Drago passes the guard and advances to mount!
Poor strikes thrown by Drago there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Drago cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Silver avoids a series of strikes thrown by Drago.
Silver is trying to stand up.
The referee warns Silver that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

It looks like Marcus Silver has been cut.
Silver takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Drago pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Silver looks gassed!
Drago postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Silver looks a forlorn figure.

Silver is rocked!

That has opened up Marcus Silver's cut even more.
Drago drops a big elbow. That's hurt Silver! More shots from Drago and the ref steps in! The fight is over!
