Bass's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Bad Man by Skillinjah. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bass throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Maeda swings for the body but Bass moves out of range.

Maeda closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Bass quickly recovers to half guard.
Maeda is thwarting Bass's attempts to control the position.
Maeda wants to take a breather but Bass is having none of it.
Bass wants to get back to his feet.

Maeda is trying for a kimura here. Bass looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Maeda wins by kimura!

A less than humble Mitsuyo Maeda misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
