The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Washburn blocks a low kick nicely.
Ford throws a push kick but Washburn slaps the foot to one side.
Ford loads up on a big right hand but Washburn slips the punch.
Ford ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Washburn takes one to the chin there.
Washburn shoots in looking for a takedown but Ford manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Washburn's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Ford staying out of range there.
Washburn has a takedown stuffed.
Ford attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Ford fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Washburn moves in looking to clinch but Ford pushes him off.

It looks like Zoe Washburn has been cut.

Washburn moves out of range of the body kick from Ford.

Washburn shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Ford napping and manages to drive through into side control!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Ford tries to lock up and control but Washburn gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Washburn connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Oh Ford is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Washburn cracks Ford with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
