Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nick Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mixtli Azteca (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Diaz comes to the cage accompanied by Kanye West- Amazing . Azteca is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Ashes - Five Finger Death Punch. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Mixtli Azteca enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Mixtli Azteca!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Sam Margolis and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz moves to clinch but Azteca breaks away
and Azteca connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Diaz scores with a jab to the jaw.
Azteca jabs Diaz to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Diaz lands a nice looking body shot.
Azteca misses with a jab, cross combination.
Mixtli Azteca seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Diaz moves in looking to clinch but Azteca pushes him off.

and Diaz holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Azteca has Diaz pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Azteca pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Diaz tumbling to the mat - Azteca dives into Diaz's guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

That was a close round but I would say that Nick Diaz will probably get the nod.

Diaz jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Azteca walks away with a smile on his face. Diaz gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Diaz is fighting off a takedown attempt but Azteca is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Diaz to the mat. Diaz regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Diaz working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Azteca doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Azteca manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Mixtli Azteca showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Mixtli Azteca comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Azteca has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
