The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zbogdanca stuffs the takedown attempt from Kipei. Kipei gets slowly back to his feet.
Kipei tries to score a power double leg takedown but Zbogdanca sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Kipei somewhat.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Kipei is in trouble now - Zbogdanca has advanced to mount!

Zbogdanca swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Kipei is now in Zbogdanca's guard. A big mistake from Zbogdanca there, giving up the dominant position!
