The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Griffon thows a body shot but no joy.
Pilgrim getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Griffon on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Griffon thows a left - swing and a miss!
Griffon needs to keep his hands up - Pilgrim had a free shot at his head there.
Pilgrim moves out of range of the body kick.
Griffon throws a body punch but Pilgrim moves out of range.
Pilgrim connects with a right hand. Griffon shakes it off.
Griffon closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Tizoc Griffon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Griffon tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Pilgrim swivels and escapes.

Griffon throws a hook to the side of Pilgrim's head but Pilgrim sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Griffon on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Griffon looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Donk. Pilgrim catches Griffon right on the button with a cross.

Griffon is rocked!
Griffon is holding his hands too far apart here. Pilgrim throws a hard, straight punch right down the pipe and BOOM! Griffon is out! That punch landed square on the jaw - what a shot!
