Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tom Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Blade Willson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Blade Willson enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tom Lee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Blade Willson!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Daniel Franklin and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Lee drives through with a takedown into Willson's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Lee postures up in Willson's guard and throws a big left but Willson blocks it.

Lee has Willson pressed against the cage, preventing Willson from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Lee shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Willson sprawls well. Willson wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Lee gets slowly back to his feet.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Lee scores with a kick to the body.
Willson throws a series of strikes that have Lee backpedaling.
Willson throws a right and a left that Lee avoids nicely.
Tom Lee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Willson wants to stand but Lee has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Willson looks gassed!
Lee pulls Willson in to control the position.
Willson would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Lee knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Willson on the ground.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Lee throws a series of punches but Willson avoids them all with ease.
Lee tries to clinch up.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Lee.
Lee shoots in looking for a takedown. Willson tries to sprawl out of it but Lee keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Willson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Tom Lee will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


The fight stays on the outside here - Lee looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Willson throws a series of punches but Lee moves out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Lee shoots in but Willson avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Lee changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Willson tries to avoid it but Lee manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Willson to the ground. Willson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Tom Lee is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Lee shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Willson as he jumps to the side.

Willson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
A shot to the liver by Willson. Beautiful body shot.

Lee decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Willson is looking to escape.

Willson kicks off Lee and gets to his feet.
Willson is breathing heavily.
Lee doesn't manage to clinch there - Willson circles away.

Willson throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Willson lunges at Lee with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Lee's hand.
Lee tries a head kick but it misses.

Lee darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Willson tries to kick Lee off but Lee keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Lee wants to lay and pray for a moment but Willson keeps working.

Tom Lee dominated that second round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

and Lee counters by clinching up.
Lee stalling.
Willson digs a right hand into Lee's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Lee's gas tank.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Lee pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Lee fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Sloppy strikes from Willson. Those never looked like landing.
Willson misses with a series of wild punches.
A swing and a miss from Willson.
Lee takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Lee plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!

Lee lands with a thumping leg kick.
Lee tries to clinch but Willson is having none of it.

Lee gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Lee has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Willson uses from the top position.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Lee scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Lee fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Willson.

Willson circles away from the clinch attempt.
Lee misses with a two punch combination.
Lee is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Lee fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Willson avoids it really well and circles away.
Lee tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Willson paws at him with a jab and circles away.

And that's the end of the fight!
Tom Lee showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Lee has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
