Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between NiShagu Nazad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matheus Oliveira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nazad kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genuis that is USSR National Anthem. Oliveira is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Mos Def - I Against I. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Nazad shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Nazad was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Nazad has hold of Oliveira's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Oliveira manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Nazad postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Oliveira looks a forlorn figure.

Oliveira bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Nazad's guard.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

so Nazad counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Nazad drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Nazad jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
NiShagu Nazad overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Oliveira makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Oliveira.
Oliveira looking to hit a scissor sweep but Nazad is one step ahead there.

Oliveira has his foot on Nazad's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Nazad works his way back into a safe position though.
