The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Wagner Zegers and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aerts tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Kakuzi closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Kakuzi lands in his opponent's guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Kakuzi stands up and waves to Aerts to follow him.
Aerts fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Kakuzi on the side of the head.
Aerts lands a high kick!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Aerts will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Aerts slips under a jab from Kakuzi.
Aerts lands a big head kick that sends Kakuzi to the canvas! Aerts follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
