The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Dillan Fox and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jenkins swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Jenkins drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jenkins thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Knuckles is pulling down on Jenkins's head to control his posture.

Jenkins wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Knuckles, who protects the arm well.

Knuckles is looking to regain half guard here but Jenkins keeps moving and retains side control.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Jenkins wants to clinch up but Knuckles keeps it at a distance.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Jenkins stays in close to Knuckles's body and controls the position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Knuckles trying to hold on to Jenkins's head to control him but Jenkins postures up.
Knuckles might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Jenkins kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Knuckles is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Jenkins scores with a couple of nice shots.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Jenkins is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Jenkins seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Knuckles is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Jenkins drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Knuckles dives on top into guard.

Jenkins keeping moving, preventing Knuckles from controlling successfully.
Jenkins pushes a forearm under Knuckles's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Knuckles is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
