Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dave Hawkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Kermodian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kermodian has chosen Arctic Monkeys - Mardy Bum as his entrance music. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dave Hawkins!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mark Kermodian!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Trevor Gratis and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kermodian misses with a looping left.
Kermodian tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hawkins swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Kermodian throws a lazy right hand but Hawkins sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Hawkins moves into range and clinches up with Kermodian.
Hawkins throws a punch but it's blocked by Kermodian.
Kermodian using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Hawkins has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Kermodian has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Hawkins avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Kermodian tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Kermodian blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Hawkins misses with some punches.
Kermodian tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Hawkins stalls.
Kermodian throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Hawkins blocks it with crossed arms.
A right handed body shot lands from Hawkins.
Hawkins lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Kermodian or not.
Kermodian breaks from the clinch.
No joy there for Kermodian, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Hawkins drops Kermodian with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Kermodian looks back up at him and smiles so Hawkins waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Kermodian is rocked!
Hawkins throws a series of punches but Kermodian avoids them all with ease.
Kermodian is still on wobbly legs! Can Hawkins finish him?
Kermodian doesn't manage to clinch there - Hawkins circles away.
Kermodian tries to clinch
and Hawkins counters with a big right hand! Oh Kermodian is in trouble here! Hawkins follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dave Hawkins!
