The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Coton tries to clinch up
and Velazquez counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Coton is controlling Velazquez's trapped leg to prevent Velazquez from advancing to side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Velazquez shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Coton defends it nicely.

Velazquez is pressed against the cage. Coton pushes back and unleashes a big elbow that really hurts Velazquez! Two more big strikes from Coton and Velazquez crumples to the mat and taps out furiously due to the strikes!
