Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Elmer Montgomery (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dexter Redshaw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Montgomery comes into the arena with Sunshine Highway blaring out of the sound system. Redshaw comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Stevie Ray Vaughan - Little Wing kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Elmer Montgomery could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Dexter Redshaw's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Redshaw rushes Montgomery and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Redshaw is trying to trip Montgomery. He has hold of a leg but Montgomery is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Redshaw persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Redshaw advances position into side control!

Redshaw swings around for an armbar but Montgomery sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Redshaw's guard.

Redshaw has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Montgomery is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Redshaw.
