Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Sebastian Escobar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yutaka Shinto!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Hirohito Nitta.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Escobar misses with a takedown attempt - Shinto sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Escobar fails with a takedown attempt.
Shinto stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Shinto wants it to stay on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sebastian Escobar. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Shinto swats away the attempt to clinch by Escobar.
Escobar shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Shinto defends it nicely.

Shinto fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Escobar, pushing him back against the cage.

Shinto wants to break the clinch but can't.

Escobar gets control of Shinto's arms and successfully pulls guard. Escobar will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Shinto is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Escobar is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Shinto sitting in guard, not really doing much.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Yutaka Shinto wasn't active enough on the ground.

Shinto clinches up with Escobar and pushes him back against the cage.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Shinto scores with a shoulder strike.
A nice left hand lands by Shinto.
Escobar has had enough of the clinch but Shinto keeps him there for the moment.
Escobar is looking for a takedown.
Escobar can't break the clinch.

Escobar pulls guard effortlessly.
Escobar controls Shinto momentarily but Shinto frees himself.
Shinto showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
Shinto's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Shinto really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Escobar. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Yutaka Shinto wasn't active enough on the ground.
Shinto circles away from the clinch attempt.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Escobar fails in his attempt to clinch.
Shinto connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.


It looks like Sebastian Escobar has been cut.
Shinto lands an overhand right.
Escobar is breathing heavily.

Shinto clinches up against the cage.
The referee is keeping an eye on Shinto - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Shinto jumps into guard, dragging Escobar to the mat.
Escobar wants to control from the top but Shinto keeps moving.

Escobar gets to his feet - Shinto follows without any prompting.
Shinto connects with a body shot that sends Escobar's belly button to the back.
Shinto connects with the punch.
Shinto is throwing punches like he's double parked. Oh my word! Huge right hand from Shinto shuts the power down on Escobar. Lights out, game over! Shinto is your winner.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:03 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Yutaka Shinto!
