Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Monfriesz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Franz Weimar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Weimar is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Steve Vai - Bad Horsie. This should be a great matchup!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Weimar moves into the clinch successfully.
Monfriesz blocks an uppercut.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Weimar scores with a shoulder strike.
Weimar is looking to control Monfriesz's arms but Monfriesz gets an underhook and turns him. Now Weimar has his back to the cage.
Monfriesz wants to stall.
Monfriesz stops a takedown attempt from Weimar.
Monfriesz misses with the head strike.
Weimar tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Monfriesz stalls.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.

Monfriesz blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Monfriesz goes for a takedown in the clinch but Weimar prevents it.
Weimar tries to break free but Monfriesz pushes him back against the cage.
Monfriesz lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Weimar backwards.
Weimar tries a knee to the head but Monfriesz blocks it.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Monfriesz takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Weimar is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

It looks like Johnny Monfriesz has been cut.
Monfriesz is looking to control Weimar's arms but Weimar gets an underhook and turns him. Now Monfriesz has his back to the cage.
Weimar doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

Monfriesz just leaning against Weimar, taking a breather.
Weimar tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Monfriesz blocks a body shot from Weimar.
Monfriesz has Weimar pushed against the cage.
The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Johnny Monfriesz.
Monfriesz misses with a hook. Weimar ducked under it nicely.
Franz Weimar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Weimar takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Weimar walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Weimar throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Monfriesz counters with a low kick, right behind Weimar 's knee.
A chopping leg kick lands by Monfriesz.
Weimar looks gassed!

Weimar misses the shot to the body.
Monfriesz connects with a leg kick. Weimar looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Monfriesz throws a body punch but Weimar moves out of range.
Monfriesz will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Donk. Monfriesz catches Weimar right on the button with a cross.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Monfriesz! Weimar is out on his feet! Monfriesz rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Weimar is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Weimar is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
