Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ron Sparks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cole Nelson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Cole Nelson enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Cole Nelson!
The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Reed Andrews and Alyssa Summers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sparks works the jab nicely.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Nelson isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Sparks stacks Nelson on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Sparks!

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Nelson is desperately trying to improve his position but Sparks has a good base and remains in mount.

That's time! Back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Nelson has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Sparks. Oh but Nelson has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Sparks goes limp - he's gone! Nelson jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
