Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jason Krueger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Thomas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Krueger's entrance music is sandstorm. A fine choice. Mark Thomas has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Jason Krueger's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thomas lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Krueger backs up against the cage.
Jason Krueger seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Thomas bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Krueger's head.
Thomas throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Krueger leaves Thomas with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Krueger closes the distance and clinches.
Thomas is pressed up against the cage. Krueger has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Thomas down to the mat. Thomas avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Thomas stuns Krueger with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Krueger shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Thomas as he jumps to the side.

Krueger drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Thomas manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Krueger has Thomas in his guard.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jason Krueger.
