The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brooking has his takedown stuffed
and Williams counters with a leg kick.

Williams moves into range and clinches up with Brooking.
Williams stops a takedown attempt from Brooking.

Williams breaks from the clinch.

Williams shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Brooking is trying to defend but Williams finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
