Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between David Dallas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ray Machine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Machine comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Stupid KId kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, David Dallas!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 8 - 1, fighting out of London, Ray Machine!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Sam Margolis and James Ackerman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Machine ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Dallas moves away.
Dallas scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Dallas looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Machine has managed to clinch.

Machine is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Dallas can't fight it off and eventually Machine manages to take the fight to the floor. Dallas looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Machine postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Machine pushing down on Dallas's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Machine with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
Dallas is trying to get back to full guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Machine accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Machine is fighting to break Dallas's control of his arms but Dallas is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Dallas is looking to stand up but Machine isn't so interested in that idea.
Machine passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Machine trying to control the action but Dallas is working from the bottom.

Machine throws an elbow but Dallas slips to the side and avoids it well.

Machine is trying to get an arm triangle but Dallas is defending well.
Dallas sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Dallas is trying to maintain the position but Machine is very close to passing his half guard.
Machine passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Dallas!

Dallas manages to regain half guard whilst avoiding the strikes.
Dallas is trying to stand back up but Machine is controlling him
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Machine tries to pass to full mount but Dallas defends it.

Machine looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Dallas avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Machine.

Machine is taking a breather. Dallas says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Machine wants to pass the guard but Dallas is defending well.

Machine is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Machine is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Dallas has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Machine is working away from the top position though.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Dallas throws a front kick aimed at Machine's knee but Machine avoids it well.
Machine leaves Dallas with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Dallas throws a jab when Machine was well out of range.
Dallas stuffs the takedown attempt from Machine. Machine gets slowly back to his feet.
Dallas throws an overhand right that lands on Machine's shoulder, as Machine tries to avoid the shot.

Machine closes the distance and clinches.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Dallas.
Machine has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Dallas after a bit of a struggle.

Machine decides to pull guard.
Dallas stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Machine swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Machine has his hands on Dallas's head, controlling the position.
Dallas trying to control but Machine is working from the bottom.

Machine has control of Dallas's left arm, preventing Dallas from doing any damage.
Dallas trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

The ref stands the fighters back up. David Dallas wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Machine misses with a combination
and Dallas counters with a good low kick that Machine was not able to check.
Machine throws a leg kick but Dallas checks it.
A slow jab from Machine misses its intended target.
Dallas throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Machine throws a body punch but Dallas moves out of range.

Machine lands a really nice looking cross but Dallas seems unphased.
Dallas lands a leg kick that knocks Machine off balance momentarily.
David Dallas is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Dallas throws a low kick but it's checked well by Machine.

Dallas blocks a jab.
Machine dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Dallas stuffs the takedown.
David Dallas has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ray Machine.
Dallas pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Dallas avoids the body shot from Machine.
Machine misses with an attempted mid kick.
Machine takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Dallas moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Machine shoots for a takedown but Dallas saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Machine is breathing heavily.
Dallas keeps the fight on the outside.
Machine connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Machine takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Dallas throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Machine sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Machine misses with a takedown attempt - Dallas sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Dallas throws a sloppy head kick and Machine moves out of range easily.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Machine slips under a jab from Dallas.
Machine has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Dallas.

Dallas gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Machine can't get the takedown.
Dallas tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Machine just stands there and leans against the cage.

Dallas escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Machine misses with a looping right.

Machine shoots in and gets a takedown into Dallas's guard.
Dallas wants to stand up but Machine is controlling him.

Machine has gone for a leg lock! Dallas slips out almost immediately though and dives into Machine's guard.

Machine manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Dallas manages to get himself to full guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Machine lands a glancing blow to the side of Dallas's head.

Dallas looks to throw the jab but Machine is out of range.
Dallas slips a jab from Machine.

Machine shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Dallas's guard.

Machine stands up over Dallas, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Dallas is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Machine goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Dallas rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Machine's guard! Nice work there by Dallas!

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.


Nice sprawl there from Machine as Dallas shoots in.

Machine gets tackled into the cage by Dallas. Dallas maintains the clinch.

Machine gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Machine trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Machine works a leg free and moves into half guard.

Machine is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Dallas defends it well.

Machine sitting and controlling from the half guard.

Machine moves nicely into side control.

Machine thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Dallas pushes Machine away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Machine gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Ray Machine is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Both of our modern day gladiators look out of it here - an gruelling 5 rounds of action taking it's toll on them, no doubt.

Dallas is not content to let Machine control the position.
Dallas can't do much from the bottom here.

Machine is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Dallas is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.

Dallas struggling a bit here.
Dallas holds on tight, trying to prevent any damage.
Machine trying to control the action but Dallas is working from the bottom.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Machine tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.

Machine is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Dallas knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Dallas parries the strikes from Machine easily there. Machine is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Dallas to escape.
Dallas gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.

Ray Machine comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Machine winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
