And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Benjamin Brownie!
The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Edson Gomes and Alexandre Firmino.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brownie misses with a jab, cross combination.
Some wild striking there from Brownie.
Brownie keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Abu Bakhar lands a body shot.

Oooooh!!! Abu Bakhar has knocked Brownie down with a huge combo! Abu Bakhar steps away and waves a wobbly Brownie back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!


Brownie is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Abu Bakhar closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Brownie to the mat! Brownie manages to get full guard.

Abu Bakhar is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Brownie is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Brownie has escaped and now he's on top!
Brownie seems to have recovered his senses.

Brownie drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Brownie jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Abu Bakhar is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Abu Bakhar is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Abu Bakhar throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Brownie escapes and throws Abu Bakhar's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Abu Bakhar looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Brownie has picked Abu Bakhar up and slammed him! Abu Bakhar can't keep hold of the triangle and Brownie manages to pass to side control!

Brownie is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Abu Bakhar pulls his head out easily.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Abu Bakhar is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Brownie has managed to free his arm - good work.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Abu Bakhar throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Abu Bakhar fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Abu Bakhar takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Abu Bakhar shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Brownie is trying to defend but Abu Bakhar finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Abu Bakhar is looking for submissions but instead, Brownie has regained full guard.
Abu Bakhar loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Brownie is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Abu Bakhar is aware though and is defending well.
Abu Bakhar postures up in Brownie's guard and throws a big left but Brownie blocks it.

Janjalani Abu Bakhar overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Abu Bakhar is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Brownie has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Abu Bakhar is looking to defend but Brownie has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Abu Bakhar! Brownie pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Abu Bakhar taps out and this one is all over!
