Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Igor Devezas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hiroshi Karasawa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Igor Devezas has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Devezas doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Karasawa counters with a nice double leg into guard.

Karasawa sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Devezas's guard.

Karasawa cracks Devezas with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

That's time! Devezas's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Karasawa feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Hiroshi Karasawa hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Well Karasawa has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
