The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aguri's jab looks to have found its range, popping Cronesberry under the eye.
Aguri keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Cronesberry.
Aguri lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Aguri shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Cronesberry eats them both and turns towards Aguri to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Cronesberry jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Aguri ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Aguri lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Aguri takes one to the side of the head.
Cronesberry looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Aguri.

Aguri throws a nice looking combination but Cronesberry bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

and Aguri counters with a nice uppercut.
Cronesberry tries a head kick but it misses.

Ethan Aguri seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Aguri thuds a left hand into Cronesberry's body.
Aguri jabs Cronesberry right on the nose. Cronesberry blinks but takes it well.
Aguri connects with a body shot.
Aguri takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

Aguri connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

Cronesberry doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Aguri lands a jab to Cronesberry's midsection.
Cronesberry is pinned up against the ropes taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Aguri lands a jab-cross combination.
Aguri bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Cronesberry's head backwards.
Aguri fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.

Aguri lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Aguri punishes Cronesberry's body with a nice straight punch.
Aguri is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Cronesberry tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Aguri lands with a right hand.
Cronesberry gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

Aguri lands a head kick. Cronesberry smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Cronesberry is still on wobbly legs! Can Aguri finish him?
Aguri pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Cronesberry back to the ropes. Aguri follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Cronesberry shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Cronesberry was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Aguri squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
Cronesberry looking to land elbow strikes but Aguri uses the position to regain half guard.
Cronesberry seems to have recovered his senses.
Aguri is looking to control Cronesberry's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Aguri avoid being mounted?

Aguri is not content to let Cronesberry control the position.
Cronesberry stalling away here and it's allowed Aguri to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
Aguri is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Cronesberry is controlling him.

Aguri is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Cronesberry slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Cronesberry has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Aguri has passed into side control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ethan Aguri dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Aguri dodges the punch combination from Cronesberry.
Aguri blocks a jab.
Cronesberry shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Aguri pinned against the ropes. Aguri gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Cronesberry avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Cronesberry misses with a straight right.
Aguri changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Cronesberry tries for a takedown but Aguri sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Cronesberry closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Aguri is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Cronesberry can do to turn this around?

Cronesberry fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Aguri avoids it really well and circles away.
Ethan Aguri has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marco Cronesberry.
Cronesberry tries to move into range but Aguri moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Cronesberry is breathing heavily.
Cronesberry's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Aguri connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Cronesberry scrambles back to his feet.

Aguri slips a jab and a cross from Cronesberry.
Aguri lands a head kick!
Cronesberry throws a lazy right hand but Aguri sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Aguri lands a really nice looking cross but Cronesberry seems unphased.
Cronesberry takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Cronesberry misses with a jab to the body
and Aguri counters with a nice body kick.

Cronesberry takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Aguri lands a left and a right that send Cronesberry crashing to the mat, dazed. Aguri thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Cronesberry is rocked!
Cronesberry on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Aguri. Aguri obviously looking to wear him down.

Aguri connects with a jab, followed by a picture perfect straight right that sends Cronesberry to the canvas, out cold! What a finish by Aguri!
