Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Black Betty (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bubba Hound (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Betty's entrance music is Black Better. A fine choice. Bubba Hound is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hound shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Betty's guard.

Betty is looking for a triangle but Hound pushes his legs off easily.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Betty really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Betty had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Hound is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Betty Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Hound's back instead.

Hound just trying to survive but Betty is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.

Betty has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Hound has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Betty is trying to stick to Hound's back but Hound is turning into Betty. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Betty's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Hound.

Betty has his foot on Hound's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Hound works his way back into a safe position though.

Hound decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

and Hound counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!

Oh but Betty is tightening it up a little... Hound has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Hound reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Hound taps out! nice BJJ there by Betty!
