Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fat Ass (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mart Kuus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Fat Ass!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Mart Kuus!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Tarja Halkonen and Roosa Järviläinen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kuus tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Kuus closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Ass to the mat! Ass manages to get full guard.
Kuus not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
It looks like Kuus might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Kuus gets to his feet. Ass looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Kuus throws a lazy head kick
and Ass counters with a good low kick that Kuus was not able to check.
Fat Ass seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kuus tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Ass gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Ass looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Kuus content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.

Kuus stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Ass buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Ass chopping away at his opponent's legs.

Kuus clinches with his opponent.
Kuus stalling in the clinch.
Ass tries to break free but Kuus pushes him back against the cage.

Kuus has Ass pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Kuus pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Ass tumbling to the mat - Kuus dives into Ass's guard.
Ass knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kuus on the ground.
Kuus seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Kuus stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ass swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Ass wants to control but Kuus passes easily into half guard.
Ass is trying to get back to full guard.

Kuus is controlling the pace.
Kuus throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Kuus thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Ass's head.
Kuus is thwarting Ass's attempts to control the position.

Ass is defending against the submission attempts here by Kuus.
Kuus perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Ass is trying to stand.
Ass tries to get to full guard but Kuus has control of the leg.

Mart Kuus dominated that round.

Kuus instigates a clinch.
Ass tries to break the clinch but Kuus is controlling the position.
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Kuus. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.
Kuus keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Ass's efforts to push away.

Kuus pulls guard.
Kuus pulls Ass in close to prevent any damage.
Kuus looking for a sweep. Not yet Kuus, not yet.
Ass has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Ass wants to control from the top but Kuus keeps moving.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Fat Ass just wasn't active enough.
Ass throws a nice head kick!
Kuus misses with a body kick.
Ass throws a sloppy head kick and Kuus moves out of range easily.
Kuus tries to land a leg kick but Ass saw it coming and moves away.
The fight stays on the outside here - Kuus looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Kuus takes the fight into the clinch.
Kuus fails to pull guard.
A frustrated look appears on Ass's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Kuus gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.

Kuus gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Mart Kuus is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
A combination from Kuus does no damage.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Ass enables Kuus to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Ass manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Kuus is breathing heavily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ass wants to control the position but Kuus says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.
Kuus is controlling the pace.
Kuus is pressing down on Ass's thigh, looking to free his foot. Ass is holding on for now.

Kuus is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Ass is just riding it out for now. Kuus eventually gives up the hold.
Ass is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Kuus content to control rather than advance.

Kuus stands up from half guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Kuus lands the left hand.
A nice leg kick lands there from Ass.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mart Kuus showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Ass gets tackled into the cage by Kuus. Kuus maintains the clinch.
Ass trying to stall but Kuus improves his position.
Kuus avoids the elbow strike from Ass, against the cage.

Kuus jumps guard.
Kuus throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Kuus wants to sweep here but Ass controlling him for the moment.
Ass looking to sit in guard and control but Kuus gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Kuus looking to pass the guard.

Ass is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Ass keeping moving, preventing Kuus from controlling successfully.
Kuus trying to move into half guard but instead Ass has managed to sweep!
Kuus is adopting a defensive guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Fat Ass.
Ass throws a sloppy head kick

and Kuus counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

Kuus manages to break the clinch.
Ass misses with a head kick.
Ass throws a head kick that misses.

Kuus clinches.

Kuus escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Kuus changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Ass looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Kuus is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Kuus misses with the ground and pound.
Fat Ass has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Ass prevents Kuus from improving position.

Kuus thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

A lull in the action here.
Mart Kuus has got the better of the ground game so far.
Ass takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Ass being controlled for a moment.
Mart Kuus is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Kuus decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Well Kuus has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
