Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Archie Balboa!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brookins keeps the fight on the outside.
Balboa fails with an attempt to clinch.

Brookins throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Balboa tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Brookins is in Balboa's guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Balboa can do anything to dispel that myth.

Oh Brookins is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Balboa has Brookins pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. Brookins is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Balboa - that's hurt Brookins badly! Oh, another knee lands and Brookins is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Brookins doesn't seem to be complaining.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knees). Archie Balboa!
Archie Balboa tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
