Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Apollo Creed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Matrix (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Creed might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to James Brown - Living in America. Matrix has chosen Power Station - We Fight For Love as his entrance music. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Matrix misses with a head kick.
Creed throws a right hand that Matrix ducks under and follows up with a left that Matrix also avoids with ease.
Matrix pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Matrix waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Creed.
Matrix throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Creed keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Matrix.
Creed avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Matrix takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Matrix uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Creed.
Creed pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Matrix is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Creed.
Creed fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Matrix manages to avoid it.
Matrix throws a hook but Creed avoids it easily.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Matrix.
Nice defenses there by Matrix.
Creed lands a head shot.
Matrix misses with a hook.
Matrix scores with a punch to the head.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Creed thows a body shot but no joy.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Creed throws a hook but Matrix avoids it easily.
Matrix looks for the body kick but Creed saw that one coming.
Creed checks a leg kick.
Creed scores with a jab to the jaw.
Creed keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Creed connects with a body shot.
Creed wants to clinch up but Matrix keeps it at a distance.
Creed works over Matrix's head and body with a nice combination.

Matrix is rocked!
Creed takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Matrix throws a sloppy head kick and Creed moves out of range easily.
Creed lands a jab.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Creed takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Matrix is still on wobbly legs! Can Creed finish him?
Matrix misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Creed.
Matrix takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Creed lunges at Matrix with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Matrix's hand.
Creed cracks Matrix with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Matrix tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Creed pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Matrix is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
