The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circle momentarily. Mistigris darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.


It looks like Scuba Steves has been cut.
Steves shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Mistigris counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Steves shoots in for a takedown but Mistigris shows good takedown defense.
Steves shoots in but Mistigris avoids the takedown attempt easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Scuba Steves. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Steves misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Mistigris.

Steves tries to pass to full mount but Mistigris defends it.

Steves seems to be working for a kimura but Mistigris defends the submission attempt.

Steves maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Mistigris could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Steves has cracked it and Mistigris is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Steves!
