The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pride looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Hiiri is fending him off so far but Pride persists. Nope, Hiiri circles away and we're back to standing.

Hiiri decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.

Hiiri closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Pride to the mat! Pride manages to get full guard.
Hiiri passes Pride's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Pride tries to roll over but Hiiri keeps him under control.

Pride makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Pride.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Pride manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Hiiri manages to get himself to full guard.

Pride avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Hiiri is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Hiiri bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Pride's guard.

Pride is looking for a triangle but Hiiri pushes his legs off easily.
Pride wants to sweep but no luck.
