The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slapping leg kick lands for Masoe.
Jones lands a right hook to the body.
Jones throws a hook to the side of Masoe's head but Masoe sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Masoe tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Jones was well out of range. Poor timing from Masoe.
Jones connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Masoe momentarily.
Jones tries a head kick but it misses.
Jones takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Jones looks to land a left hand but Masoe moved out of range nicely.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Jones lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Masoe fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Jones has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Jones throws a front kick aimed at Masoe's knee but Masoe avoids it well.
Jones ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Masoe moves away.
Masoe is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Masoe delivers a nice body kick.
A chopping leg kick lands by Masoe.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Masoe tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Jones is able to avoid easily.

Masoe drops Jones with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Jones looks back up at him and smiles so Masoe waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

It looks like Joseph Jones has been cut.

Masoe fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Jones has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.

Masoe motions for Jones to come forward. Masoe throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Masoe throws a front kick that sends Jones stumbling back into the cage.
Jones is looking to slow Masoe down with leg kicks.
Masoe dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Jones. That did some damage!
Jones avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

No joy there for Masoe, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

That kick from Masoe tenderised Jones's leg. Jones is trying to keep his angry face on.
Jones is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Masoe lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Jones has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Masoe.

Masoe lands a big head kick that sends Jones tumbling to the mat! Masoe takes a step backwards and waves Jones back to his feet - he wants the finish!
