Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Benigno Aquino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and God Devil (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Benigno Aquino!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, God Devil!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, John Mangel and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Devil swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Aquino counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Aquino wants to stand but Devil has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Devil had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Aquino defends it easily.
Aquino connects with a couple of short punches.
Aquino throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Devil works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Devil is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Aquino defends well.
Aquino lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Devil remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Devil throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Devil gets caught flat footed, as Aquino shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Devil tries to land a sweep but no joy.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Benigno Aquino will probably get the nod.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Aquino enables Devil to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Aquino manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

OK we're going to have a standup here. God Devil hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Aquino changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Devil looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Aquino shoots in looking for a takedown. Devil tries to sprawl out of it but Aquino keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Devil manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Devil scores with a crisp jab that stopped Aquino in his tracks.

Aquino lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Devil falls backwards - clearly groggy! Aquino dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!

Benigno Aquino decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
