Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Barry Honnam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chamek Presente (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Russell Pearce and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Honnam lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Honnam throws a low kick but Presente moves out of range easily.

Presente fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Honnam sprawls well initially but Presente persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Honnam avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Presente.
Presente looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Honnam with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Presente seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Honnam does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Honnam shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Honnam fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Presente has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

That kick from Honnam tenderised Presente's leg. Presente is trying to keep his angry face on.

Presente takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Honnam lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Presente has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Presente and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
