Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Hector Alves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrew Eberhart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Eberhart is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by South Side. Andrew Eberhart is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

and Alves counters with a lovely shot to the body.

Alves fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Eberhart, pushing him back against the cage.

Alves tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Eberhart paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Eberhart fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Alves looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Eberhart avoids the head kick by Alves.
Alves is looking to wear down Eberhart with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Alves walks into a straight right hand from Eberhart.
Eberhart slips a jab from Alves.
Eberhart shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Alves as he jumps to the side.
Eberhart thows a body shot but no joy.
Eberhart shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Alves defends it nicely.

Eberhart moves forwards but Alves connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Eberhart tries to roll over but Alves keeps him under control.

Alves tries to free his leg and advance position but Eberhart is retaining full guard.

Eberhart had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Alves defends it easily.

Alves is nestled in close to Eberhart, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

I would just about give that final round to Andrew Eberhart.
