Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Danzka Cranraz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrey Kozlov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Andrey Kozlov has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Danzka Cranraz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Andrey Kozlov!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Roosa Järviläinen and Anni Minnemäki.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cranraz with a lazy takedown attempt

and Kozlov counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Cranraz tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.

Kozlov is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Cranraz wants to get back to full guard.

Kozlov is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Cranraz defends it well.

Cranraz is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Kozlov is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Cranraz can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Kozlov goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Cranraz has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Kozlov but great work by Cranraz.
Kozlov is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Cranraz passes the guard and advances to mount!
Kozlov can't escape the position.
Cranraz throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
Cranraz throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Kozlov because Cranraz loaded up on that one.
Kozlov avoids a series of strikes thrown by Cranraz.

Cranraz punching from mount but Kozlov doing a good job of avoiding damage.
Cranraz lands a nice shot to the head.
Cranraz breaks from Kozlov's wrist control and lands an elbow.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Kozlov sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Cranraz stands up out of the half guard.
Kozlov leaves Cranraz with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Andrey Kozlov will probably get the nod.

Cranraz shoots in looking for a takedown but Kozlov manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Cranraz's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Cranraz really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Kozlov looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Kozlov works his way into side control.

Cranraz is looking for a sweep.
Cranraz is working hard here to advance position.

You can see the frustration on Cranraz's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Cranraz manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.

Kozlov is working for a kimura but Cranraz is defending it quite comfortably.

Kozlov stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Cranraz to get to his feet.

Cranraz shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

so Kozlov counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Danzka Cranraz. That's going to take a lot out of him.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Kozlov drops back looking for a leg! Cranraz is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Cranraz manages to kick Kozlov off! Kozlov jumps back into Cranraz's guard.

Kozlov lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Kozlov is looking to take a break and control but Cranraz is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Cranraz is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Kozlov is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Cranraz regains full guard. Nicely done.
Cranraz throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Cranraz avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Cranraz wants to stand and escape but Kozlov is having none of it.
Cranraz will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Kozlov looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Cranraz is desperately trying to improve his position but Kozlov has a good base and remains in mount.
Cranraz srikes from the bottom but he's lost position and has given up his back.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Andrey Kozlov showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!



Kozlov closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Cranraz's guard.
Cranraz wants to stand but Kozlov is controlling the position.
Cranraz trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!

Kozlov is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Cranraz is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Andrey Kozlov spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a big arrogant.
