Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Brian Wilt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luke Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Luke Jones told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Luke Jones!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wilt tries a head kick but it misses.
Wilt throws a head kick but Jones moves out of range.
Jones closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Wilt quickly recovers to half guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Jones working over Wilt with some ground and pound. Wilt looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Jones keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Jones is nestled in close to Wilt, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Wilt throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Jones looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Wilt is refusing to be controlled, as Jones sits in half guard.
Jones in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Wilt tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Jones!
