Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between GRrinder Lovelace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ippo Makunochi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Makunochi has chosen DMX - X Gon Give It To Ya as his entrance music. Ippo Makunochi will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Steve Smith and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Makunochi tries to clinch up but Lovelace circles away and keeps his distance.
Makunochi wants to clinch.
Makunochi tries to close the distance and clinch but Lovelace swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Makunochi closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Makunochi trying to control the position but Lovelace is working away.
Lovelace is looking for a sweep.
Makunochi tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
Makunochi sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Lovelace is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Makunochi tries to stand but Lovelace is controlling his head.
Lovelace gets back to half guard.

Lovelace is defending against the submission attempts here by Makunochi.

Lovelace knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Makunochi on the ground.
Lovelace is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Makunochi's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Makunochi's back!
Lovelace connects with a big shot to the side of Makunochi's head.
Can Makunochi hold on?! Lovelace is landing more strikes to his hapless foe.
Makunochi is rocked!
Lovelace cracks Makunochi with a big right hand from the back mount! Makunochi immediately covers up and the referee dives in to save him under a barrage of more strikes! Lovelace takes this one by TKO!
