Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Abu Al Zarqawi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nyquil Salazar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Salazar has chosen Enter Sandman as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Salazar with that takedown attempt.
Al Zarqawi circles away from the clinch attempt.
Nyquil Salazar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Al Zarqawi is fighting to break Salazar's control of his arms but Salazar is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Salazar clinches up with Al Zarqawi and pushes him back against the ropes.
Salazar lands a damaging elbow.

It looks like Abu Al Zarqawi has been cut.
Al Zarqawi trying to control the position but instead, Salazar has worked for underhooks and has pushed Al Zarqawi into the ropes.

Al Zarqawi gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Salazar regains guard.
Salazar tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Salazar lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Al Zarqawi!

Salazar lands a big shot there that rocks Al Zarqawi but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Abu Al Zarqawi's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Al Zarqawi is trying desperately to improve position.
Salazar has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
