Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Derrick Morgan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Derrick Morgan is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morgan throws a predictable looking body shot

and Miller counters with a nice double leg into guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Morgan keeping moving, preventing Miller from controlling successfully.
Morgan really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Miller. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Miller trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

Miller drops back looking for a leg! Morgan is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Morgan manages to kick Miller off! Miller jumps back into Morgan's guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Morgan can do anything to dispel that myth.

Morgan swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Miller.

Miller is pushing down on Morgan's leg trying to pass to half guard. Morgan is fighting to maintain full guard but Miller has managed to sneak the leg through.

Miller is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Morgan doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Miller.

Miller is looking to take a break and control but Morgan is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Miller wants to free his trapped foot but Morgan is holding on for dear life with his legs.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Miller wants to work for an arm triangle but Morgan is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Miller throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Morgan is not content to let Miller control the position.
Morgan looks like he's trying to stand up.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Morgan throws a leg kick but Miller checks it.
Morgan throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.

Miller shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Morgan defends it nicely.

Morgan lands with an uppercut that bounces Miller off the cage and back into range.

Morgan ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Miller moves away.
Miller takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Derrick Morgan seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Morgan lets his hands go wild with a nice combination. Left! Right! Uppercut! Spinning backfist! Miller goes down and covers up as Morgan starts wailing on him! The ref watches the action closely before stepping in and putting a stop to the fight!
