Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gonzo Bunga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tamong Kodo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bunga's entrance music is Nova. A fine choice. Gonzo Bunga has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
10 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Gonzo Bunga!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Tamong Kodo!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Ben Zyskovitsi and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bunga throws a nice looking combination but Kodo bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Bunga uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Kodo.
Kodo scores with a jab.
Kodo lands a head shot.
Kodo throws a hook but Bunga blocks it.
Bunga tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kodo swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Kodo throws a lazy uppercut
and Bunga counters with a nice body shot.
No joy there for Kodo, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Bunga throws a push kick but Kodo slaps the foot to one side.
Kodo clinches with his opponent.
Kodo keeps control of Bunga as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Kodo breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Kodo lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
It looks like Gonzo Bunga has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Bunga moves in looking to clinch but Kodo pushes him off.
Bunga lands a nice leg kick that just misses Kodo's sensitive parts.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Kodo throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Bunga misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Bunga connects with a leg kick. Kodo looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Kodo moves out of range of the body kick.
Kodo has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Bunga.
Kodo avoids the head kick by Bunga.
Kodo lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Bunga throws a front kick that sends Kodo stumbling back into the cage.
Kodo bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Bunga's head backwards.
Kodo keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kodo looks to throw the jab but Bunga is out of range.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Bunga feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Kodo's calf.
Kodo misses with a hook. Bunga ducked under it nicely.
A head kick misses from Bunga.
Bunga throws a head kick but Kodo moves out of range.
Kodo throws a lazy uppercut
and Bunga counters with an outside leg kick.
Bunga takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Bunga is rocked!
Kodo wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Oh Bunga is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Kodo might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Bunga is breathing heavily.
Kodo scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Bunga doesn't seem bothered though.
Bunga walks into a straight right, dropping him to the canvas! Kodo swarms him and finishes the fight with a hail of punches! What a brutal finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Tamong Kodo!
After the fight, Tamong Kodo was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
