Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Vash The Stampede (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Vash The Stampede has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Vash The Stampede seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jones looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Jones seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but The Stampede does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

The Stampede has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The Stampede feints and as Jones raises his hands in defense, The Stampede changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Jones really doesn't want to stay on the ground with The Stampede. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The Stampede thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

The Stampede got a little sloppy there for a moment and Jones has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, The Stampede has managed to get both his arms back between Jones's legs - danger averted.

He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Jones looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by The Stampede! Submission of the night perhaps?
