Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joe Wrassle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roberto Umberto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Umberto comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Perry Como - Magic Moments kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Umberto throws a jab when Wrassle was well out of range.
Umberto connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

It looks like Joe Wrassle has been cut.

Wrassle throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Umberto tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Wrassle is in Umberto's guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Umberto is on top in guard.
Wrassle knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Umberto on the ground.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Wrassle shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Umberto as he jumps to the side.
Umberto fails in his attempt to clinch.
Umberto tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Umberto lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Wrassle is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Umberto.

Joe Wrassle's cut is getting worse.

Wrassle closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Umberto gets back to half guard.
Umberto wants to control but Wrassle is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Wrassle is pressing down on Umberto's thigh, looking to free his foot. Umberto is holding on for now.
