Wallace's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Stop being greedy - DMX. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wallace misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Lin closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Wallace quickly recovers to half guard.
Wallace on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Wallace tries to get out of the position.
Wallace wants to get back to his feet.
Lin throwing shots but Wallace is blocking nicely.
Wallace is controlling Lin's position as best he can from this difficult position.
Still in half guard, Lin seems content to control.

Wallace makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!

Lin closes the distance and clinches up with Wallace, looking for a takedown. Lin pushes Wallace against the cage but Wallace circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Wallace throws an off balance right hand
and Wallace takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Wallace uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Lin has time to react.
Wallace thows a body shot but no joy.
Lin shoots in but no luck this time.
Lin fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Kakihara Wallace has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Roger Lin.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Wallace, as that shot connected.

Lin feints and as Wallace raises his hands in defense, Lin changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Lin throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Wallace works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Lin stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Wallace swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Lin won't allow Wallace to get back to his feet.

Lin postures up in Wallace's guard and throws a big left but Wallace blocks it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wallace wants to sweep here but Lin controlling him for the moment.
Wallace is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Wallace preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Wallace wants to stand and escape but Lin is having none of it.

Lin throws a strike but Wallace rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Wallace is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Kakihara Wallace just wasn't active enough.
Wallace thows a body shot but no joy.
Kakihara Wallace is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Wallace, as that shot connected.
Lin shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Wallace sprawls well. Wallace wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Lin gets slowly back to his feet.
Wallace takes a shot right to the bread basket.

Wallace works over Lin's head and body with a nice combination.

Wallace connects with a superb combination that knocks Lin out cold! The referee charges across the mat and tackles Wallace before he can land any more shots to the unconscious Lin!
