Savage has chosen Bon Jovi - It's my life as his entrance music. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Savage looks for the body kick but Hawkins saw that one coming.
Savage throws a nice inside leg kick.
Savage throws a head kick but Hawkins moves out of range.
Savage fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Hawkins is looking to clinch but Savage is avoiding it.
Hawkins is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Hawkins avoids the head kick by Savage.
Savage wants to slow Hawkins down by chopping away at his legs.
A clash of legs there as Hawkins blocks the low kick.
Savage swats away the attempt to clinch by Hawkins.

Hawkins moves into the clinch.
Hawkins tries to land knees in the clinch but Savage avoids the damage to the body.

Savage is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Hawkins gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Savage has picked Hawkins up - he's going for a ride! Savage dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Hawkins tries to get to full guard but Savage has control of the leg.

Savage is working for a kimura but Hawkins is defending it quite comfortably.

Savage is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Hawkins is just riding it out for now. Savage eventually gives up the hold.

Savage drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Savage seems to have locked his on tight now - Hawkins screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Savage, as he picks up the win!
