Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dave Yoma (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dave Dameshek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dave Dameshek will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Dave Yoma!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Dave Dameshek!
The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Matheus Silva and Seu Braga.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yoma keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Yoma is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Dameshek.
Dave Yoma seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Yoma shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Dameshek sprawls well. Dameshek wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Yoma gets slowly back to his feet.
Yoma shoots in for a takedown but Dameshek shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Dameshek stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Dameshek wants it to stay on the feet.

Yoma stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dameshek swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Yoma sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Dameshek is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Yoma lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.

Yoma is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Dameshek knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Dameshek sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Yoma is just content to waste time from the top position. Dameshek takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Dameshek holds on and takes a little breather.

Dameshek has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Yoma can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Dameshek is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Yoma is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Yoma is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Dameshek defends it well.

Yoma looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Yoma is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

Yoma is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Dameshek is defending against the submission attempts here by Yoma.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Yoma seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Dameshek does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Dameshek throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Yoma tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Dameshek is in Yoma's guard.

Yoma is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Dameshek defends well.

Yoma is looking for a triangle but Dameshek pushes his legs off easily.

Dameshek is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Yoma defends it well.
Yoma might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Dameshek is trying to work for a kimura but Yoma is defending well.
Dameshek is looking to take a break and control but Yoma is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Dameshek got a little sloppy there for a moment and Yoma has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Dameshek has managed to get both his arms back between Yoma's legs - danger averted.

Yoma looking for subs off his back but Dameshek has passed one foot through into half guard.

Dameshek is looking for a kimura but Yoma is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Dameshek to get the leverage.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Yoma misses with a takedown attempt - Dameshek sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Dave Dameshek showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!


Yoma tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Dameshek throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Yoma's waist but Yoma gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Dameshek off to one side.

and Dameshek counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Yoma looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Dameshek is defending well. Yoma quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Dameshek has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Yoma celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
