Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Patrick Owen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrei Alexandru (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Owen comes into the arena with M.O.P. - Ante Up blaring out of the sound system. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Paul Tew and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alexandru throws a head kick that Owen semi-blocks.
It looks like Patrick Owen has been cut.
Horrible takedown by Alexandru or perhaps it was just good defense by Owen which made him look bad.
Alexandru fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Owen avoids it really well and circles away.
Owen closes the distance and clinches.
Owen tries to break the clinch but Alexandru is controlling the position.

Alexandru changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Owen tries to avoid it but Alexandru manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Owen to the ground. Owen escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Owen.
Alexandru misses with a hook. Owen ducked under it nicely.
Alexandru shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Alexandru was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Owen is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Alexandru's half guard.

Owen looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Alexandru with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Well Alexandru has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
