Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rassle fails with a takedown attempt.

Rassle tries to close the distance and clinch but Chiba swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Rassle just misses with a punch to the body.
Rassle shoots in but no luck this time.

Chiba wriggles free and stands up.
Chiba thows a left - swing and a miss!
Rassle fails in his attempt to clinch.
Rassle shoots for a takedown but Chiba saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

and Chiba counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Chiba works the jab nicely.
Chiba has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.

and Chiba counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Rassle walks into a stiff left hand from Chiba.
Rassle gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Chiba counters with a stiff right hand.
Rassle throws a chopping leg kick but Chiba manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Chiba takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Rassle will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Rassle shoots in for a takedown but Chiba shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Rassle looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Chiba is fending him off so far but Rassle persists. Nope, Chiba circles away and we're back to standing.
Rassle is breathing heavily.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Chiba, as that shot connected.

Rassle clinches.

Rassle works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Rassle in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Chiba is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Rassle is controlling him.
Rassle throws an elbow that misses. Chiba uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Rassle's guard. Nice move by Chiba!

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Rassle tries to score a power double leg takedown but Chiba sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Rassle somewhat.

Good leg kick by Chiba there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
A bone on bone clash there as Chiba blocks the leg kick.
Rassle is trying hard to land a takedown here. Chiba sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

and Chiba counters with a big right hook, that lands right on the temple! Rassle goes down! Chiba rushes to a neutral corner to get the count going quickly. This one's going to be close! 3,4,5,6,7... Rassle is up to one knee.... 8,9.... He's up! The referee says he's good to go, so we're back to the action!

and Chiba counters with a beautiful right hand that knocks Rassle out cold! What a finish! Chiba is going crazy, running around the mat, summersaulting off the corner posts and screaming into the cameras. Something tells me he's pretty happy!
