Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kick Ass (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ringo Spar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Spar has chosen i Get Knocked Down, But i Get Up Again as his entrance music. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spar fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Spar blocks a jab.
Ass throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

It looks like Ringo Spar has been cut.
Spar throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Spar avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Spar scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Ass chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Ass keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Spar bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Ass's head backwards.

It looks like Kick Ass has been cut.
Ass misses with a two punch combination.
Ass uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Spar.
Ass misses with a few strikes there.
Ass fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Spar manages to avoid it.
Ass tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Spar paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Spar misses with an uppercut. Ass saw that one coming.
Good work by Ass as he checks the leg kick.

Spar connects with a nice looking jab.

The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Ass checks a leg kick.
Spar throws out a loose jab but Ass uses good head movement to avoid it.

Spar throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

A looping hook to the body misses from Spar. Ass does a little dance to reset his feet.

Ass lands with a kick to the temple. Spar shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

Ass takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Spar steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Ass.

This has been an exciting period of action!
A slow jab from Ass misses its intended target.
Spar with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
A low kick from Ass misses
and Spar counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Spar circles away from the clinch attempt.
Ass pivots, looking for a leg kick but Spar is out of range and Ass settles back down.
A left lands for Spar.
Ass throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Spar fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Ass manages to avoid it.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Good leg kick by Spar there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Ass tries to move into range but Spar moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Kick Ass's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
That kick from Spar tenderised Ass's leg. Ass is trying to keep his angry face on.
Nice body punch from Spar.
Spar is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Ass had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
The crowd cheers as Spar lands an impressive looking overhand right. Ass doesn't seem phased though.

Ass is rocked!
Ass slips a straight right by Spar.
Ass moves out of range of the body kick from Spar.
Spar keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Oh Ass is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Jeez, Kick Ass's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
Ass takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Kick Ass's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
