Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jonathon Wonnut!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Jonathan King!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Richard Clark and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wonnut scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. King doesn't seem bothered though.
Nice uppercut there from Wonnut.
Wonnut motions for King to come forward. Wonnut throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.

King drives through with a takedown into guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
King pushing down on Wonnut's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.

King is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with King in particular looking to stall.
King wants to pass the guard but Wonnut is defending well.

Wonnut tries to regain full guard. Instead though, King has advanced to mount. Uh oh.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
King trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Wonnut tries to hold on but King postures up.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

King has hold of Wonnut's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Wonnut manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
King looking to control but Wonnut is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

King jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Wonnut manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Wonnut looks to move to half guard but instead King has passed into mount! Damn!
Wonnut knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for King on the ground.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Wonnut is in all sorts of trouble here.
Wonnut is in a horrible position here. King smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

King looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
King thowing shots but they're missing.
King looking to control but Wonnut is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
King trying to control but he's not successful this time.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jonathan King dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


King takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Wonnut changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Jonathon Wonnut seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wonnut tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
No luck for King with that takedown attempt.
King takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
King on the wrong end of a nice hook.
King on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
King is breathing heavily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Wonnut slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
King takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.


King is rocked!
King should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
