PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Geronimo Malkind (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and William Sims (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Malkind comes to the cage accompanied by Extreme Ways. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, John Mangel and Eliza Hachem.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sims looks to land a left hand but Malkind moved out of range nicely.
Sims fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Malkind manages to avoid it.
Sims pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Malkind pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Malkind throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Sims cracks Malkind with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

It looks like Geronimo Malkind has been cut.
Malkind slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Malkind darts in and clinches Sims up against the cage.
Malkind blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Malkind tries to throw a body punch but Sims avoids it by throwing Malkind back against the cage.

Sims drags the fight down to the ground.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Sims has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Malkind can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Sims is trying to keep Malkind in close.

Sims throws his legs up looking for a submission but Malkind uses it to pass to side control.
Sims tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Malkind landing a few strikes.
Sims tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Malkind wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Malkind cracks Sims with a big right hand but Sims just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Sims is looking for a sweep.
Malkind scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Sims to see if he's OK.

Sims takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

Malkind lands a strong strike to the head of Sims. That's dazed him! Malkind looking to finish here. Sims is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Malkind lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
